5/21/2023 0 Comments Shadow era banebow![]() ![]() (I think when I write these breakdowns for Shadow from now on I’m just going to assume you know he’s here ) Massive survivability and very useful when combined with Bane’s ability. Infernal Gargoyle : Once again the go-to guy for Shadow. ![]() So the list is primarily a list of the core CotC allies that many Shadow decks have: With the original set there were a number of solid choices for Banebow, but nothing that really synergized super well with him. However with the release of A Perfect Shot and even with supplementary damage sources like Furrion Terror this style of counter play has become more risky. ![]() Prior to DP canny players used to take advantage of this by “fatty rolling”, dropping high health allies one after the other to drain the Banebow player of responses, before crushing him beneath the tide. This means that in most cases Banebow players will be frequently combining two and even three different damage sources to take down targets. However hero ability alone will not carry the day and Banebow’s definitely needs assistance as it is only two damage per target. Like Zaladar, Banebow ’s ability is also highly flexible and there are no matchups where it is useless. It is a difficult task for many heroes to keep their early allies on the field against Banebow, especially as damage reduction abilities are substantially weaker against him. And since the release of Dark Prophecies he’s been given quite a few new tools to overcome the weaknesses in his game and the set has turned him into a real all-rounder hero with some devastating potential (as the current top 100 is proving).īanebow ’s ability is one of, if not the best ability in the game for early board control. Since then he’s been a constant fixture in QM and in tournaments. The most commonly seen of the four Hunters, Banebow first really rose to prominence when Sisyphos took him to the number #2 spot on the QM ladder in season 4. (The new) Banebow - …I feel like he is too "ghost pirate-ish”….Yarrr……. ![]()
